Course Description

This four-hour practical workshop, delivered over two sessions of two hours each, equips teachers, coordinators, mentors, and youth workers with foundational skills in student guidance and career counselling. Participants will learn how to conduct structured career conversations, recognise signs of student stress and confusion, and provide responsible direction at key educational decision points. The workshop is grounded in real-world practice — combining roleplay counselling conversations, student case discussions, career pathway mapping exercises, and goal-setting activities. Rather than offering a clinical or theoretical framework, the programme focuses on building confidence and communication competence for everyday guidance interactions. It is specifically relevant to the Nepali educational context, helping participants support students navigating choices after SEE and +2. Participants receive a Workshop Participation Certificate from Embark College upon completion.
