Course Description:

This structured, hands-on workshop is designed to help beginners and early professionals use generative AI safely and effectively at work. Delivered across eight sessions, the programme covers the fundamentals of large language models, practical prompting techniques, output verification and quality control, and real-world workflows for writing, analysis, presentations, customer support, and content creation.
Participants will explore how modern AI tools work, where they succeed, and where they fail – including hallucinations, privacy considerations, and ethical boundaries. The course places a strong emphasis on real implementation: building reusable prompt packs, designing document templates, analysing data with AI assistance, and automating repeatable tasks safely.
The course concludes with a capstone project in which participants redesign a real workflow using AI tools, document the before-and-after impact, and present their solution – leaving with a personal AI toolkit they can immediately apply in their work or study context.
