Python Programming

What You’ll Learn

  • Write clean, functional Python programs using variables, loops, and functions.
  • Manipulate and analyze data with Pandas and NumPy for real-world insights.
  • Create interactive visualizations and dashboards using Matplotlib.
  • Work with files, handle exceptions, and structure modular, reusable code.
  • Apply hands-on problem-solving skills through mini-projects and a capstone
    project.
  • Gain practical experience with Jupyter Notebook, coding best practices, and
    data-driven storytelling.

Course Description

Python programming focuses on developing foundational programming and analytical skills
through a project-based approach. The course introduces participants to essential programming
concepts, enabling them to write, read, and debug python scripts effectively. Learners engage in
practical exercises that cover data structures, control flow, and function design while
progressively building toward data manipulation and analysis using Pandas and NumPy.
Students will focus on writing efficient, readable code and applying problem-solving strategies
through hands-on labs and mini-projects. Participants also gain experience in data visualisation
using Matplotlib, developing the ability to communicate analytical insights clearly and accurately.
The course ends with a hands-on project where learners integrate programming logic, data
handling, and visual storytelling into a functional mini-application or analytical report. Upon
completion, participants will be able to use Python confidently to solve data-related problems
and show their ability to handle complete coding projects from development to deployment.
